S.W.O.R.D. - Sentient World Observation and Response Department
Founded in 1947 after S.H.I.E.L.D.'s first official encounter with extra-terrestrial entities, S.W.O.R.D. was created to monitor and protect Earth from extra-terrestrial threats while maintaining peace between worlds. Under the current leadership of Abigail Brandt, S.W.O.R.D. continues to preserve Terran interests to this day.
