S.H.I.E.L.D. Threat #10163: Eric Lehnsherr/Magneto {Deceased}
Eric Maxwell Lehnsherr (a.k.a. Magneto, Magnus, Master of Magnetism, Max Eisenhardt, Michael Xavier, Auschwitz I.D. #24005)
THREAT LEVEL: OMEGA
Registration Status: Registered
Monitor and Containment Procedures:
Monitoring Procedures:
Surveillance Systems: Utilize drones and satellite imagery to monitor known locations where Magneto is likely to appear, particularly around mutant gatherings or sites of conflict.
Power Signatures: Employ electromagnetic field sensors to detect fluctuations in magnetic energy, allowing early warnings of Magneto’s activities or movements.
Intelligence Reports: Maintain open channels with field agents and mutant sympathizers to gather intel on Magneto's plans, potential allies, and psychological state.
Behavioral Analysis: Regularly assess Magneto’s emotional and psychological condition through interviews with trusted allies or telepaths to identify potential instability.
Communication Intercepts: Monitor communications among known associates and allies to anticipate Magneto's actions and identify any plots against him or S.H.I.E.L.D.
Containment Procedures:
Specialized Containment Facility: Construct a containment area with reinforced materials that minimize metal usage, incorporating Faraday cages and electromagnetic dampeners to limit his powers.
Rapid Response Team: Assemble a highly trained response team equipped with non-lethal weaponry designed to counteract magnetism (e.g., repulsor tech) and specialized strategies for dealing with high-level threats.
Environmental Control: Use environments specifically designed to hinder Magneto's abilities, such as rooms with limited metal and structures that create obstacles to his movement.
Power Inhibition Devices: Implement devices that generate strong magnetic fields to disrupt his ability to manipulate metal, rendering him less effective in combat scenarios.
Physical Restraints: Utilize non-metallic restraints made from high-strength polymers or similar materials to prevent his escape without empowering him with metal to manipulate.
Emergency Protocols: Establish protocols for rapid containment in case of a breakout or escape attempt. This includes deploying decoy tactics and creating barriers to slow him down.
Psychological Isolation: If Magneto shows signs of emotional instability or extreme anger, consider isolating him from potential emotional triggers or allies to prevent manipulation.
Transport Procedures: When transporting Magneto, use reinforced, non-metallic vehicles equipped with motion sensors and magnetic dampening systems to minimize escape risks.
Weaknesses:
Emotional Vulnerability: Magneto's motivations are often driven by deep emotional ties to his past, especially related to trauma from his experiences during the Holocaust. Manipulating these emotions can distract or destabilize him.
Physical Limitations: While he can manipulate metal and magnetic fields, Magneto is still a human being with physical limitations. In close-quarters combat, he can be overpowered if caught off-guard.
Mental Strain: Overexertion of his powers can lead to mental fatigue. Prolonged use of his abilities in high-stress situations can result in diminished control and effectiveness.
Vulnerability to Non-Metallic Threats: Magneto's powers are primarily based on metal manipulation. Environments devoid of metal or technology specifically designed to negate his abilities can severely limit his effectiveness.
Isolation from Allies: His strong ideological stance can lead to alienation from potential allies. If isolated from his followers, his influence and resources diminish significantly.
Distrust of Others: Magneto’s deep-seated mistrust can hinder his ability to collaborate effectively. This can be exploited by adversaries to sow discord among his ranks.
Health Issues: Magneto has faced health complications over the years, particularly related to injuries sustained in battles. These can be leveraged by opponents if he is not in peak condition.
Overconfidence: His belief in his own superiority can lead to underestimating opponents, resulting in strategic errors during confrontations.

Personal history
Born in June of 1930 to Jakob Lehnsherr and Edie Eisenhardt, Eric Lehnsherr grew up as a normal child in Nuremburg, Germany. His father Jakob had been a World War I veteran and refused to believe that the nation he had fought for was turning its back on him. Max accompanied his father to see Major Jurgen Scharf, whom he had saved in the war. His father was left waiting for the major and beaten by a troupe of Nazis for "making trouble" in Scharf's office and resisting arrest. After hours of beating, Major Scharf threw Jakob out of his office, stating that the Nazis would have killed him if not for him and that they were now even. As things worsened in Germany, Max's father was forced to accept reality, and brought the family to Warsaw, Poland after Kristallnacht.
