Obviously a letter

NOTHING! It's nothing!   I mean... It's just... You know what? I'm not quite sure.   Clearly, it's a letter. Right, right, it's clear to me. You would understand if you knew more about how things are here now. This is a perfectly ordinary letter. I just don't know what it says, okay? I would, if it was addressed to me.   I found it this morning in my best friend's room. Is really none of your business. Or mine, probably.   But I can't stop thinking about it: he hasn't heard the message.   It could be important. I feel like if I opened it I would know why...(ehem) It's important. That's it. But I can't just open it. The way it was delivered... Clearly the sender didn't want people to know about it. I don't think that I was meant to find it, but at the same time, it bothers me that he, my friend, never read it.   I think we should open it.

Background

I've been told that my friend asking questions about some shady group that has been forming recently; I guess he thought they could be trouble, or maybe he was just curious, I don't know. He has a habit of asking too much and to keep his cards on the table when he shouldn't. I drives me crazy. And now I'm worried that he annoyed the wrong people.   Either way, this letter has to be related to that, since it comes from the Security administrator.   Maybe what we really need to ask ourselves is "do we want to have dangerous information?". Most people would rather care about their personal safety and let whatever awful thing that is happening to go on. But I'm not exactly that kind of people. I rather do or say something when I have the chance. I'm just not sure if I do have any chances here.

If you need to know, yes. I sent the letter, but I didn't made the memory it holds. I convinced a few witnesses to remember and answer for me if they ever had the chance, and this is the one who did.   Why? We were trying to find a backstabbing soon to be corpse. Sorry, I don't mean to sound like... Apparently I do have an bloodthirsty side after all, and this whole thing has brought it to the surface.   It doesn't help that I still don't know what is the message. Go on, then. We have to read it.

First, congrats on your Diamond badge! Second I really enjoyed this article. There were a couple spelling errors, but that doesn't really matter, I understood all of it perfectly. I really like the prose of this article, and how it's written. Obviously the narrator is nervous and doesn't know what he's doing. And that really got me interested and curious about this world just in general.   I liked the first couple of sentences, that's what really got my attention. And I kind of like that the person is all over the place and doesn't really make much sense. However, as someone who has no knowledge of the world I would have liked a little more information, like who this friend was and maybe a link to their article. Just so I could get emotionally attached to the people in the world.   But other than that I loved the article, and it works just fine without me knowing who the friend or narrator or even who Gael is. Good job!

Thanks for reading and commenting. I'm glad to know that the narrator's tone is clear!   Fun fact: she's trying her best to not mention the identity of that friend.
