Sons of Fenrir

A boogeyman story even among the most fearsome Werewolves and Were-Touched are the group of shamanic warriors known as the Sons of Fenrir. These Werewolves considered themselves a clan, but were thought of as a cult by most other clans at the time - particularly for their spectral powers of Primal Magic and a near-religious worship of a demonic wolf spirit who they claimed they would one day be able to summon to this realm.   While this was largely ignored by the larger clans of the time - in the early days of the Imperial Age, and at the height of the conflict between the Ironfang Pack and the Bloodmoon Prowl, the Sons of Fenrir took advantage of the chaos to begin slaughtering thousands of innocents both within and beyond the borders of the Muldrotha Wilds. This not only drew the ire of the fledgling Valedori Empire, but also the focus of the Devilblood Companies of the region and heightened the conflict between Werewolves and the other settlements of the Imperial Fractals. Because of this danger spurred by their actions, the members of the Sons of Fenrir were called to the sacred enclave of Wolfrun - where they were suddenly disbanded and executed in one of the bloodiest single battles in the history of the Werewolf Clans.   Today, the clan and its members are all but a distant memory, many decades old. While new rumors arise every so often of a new gathering of a handful of these cultists - most believe these to be started by The Red Riders and other Devilblood Companies seeking reasons to attack Werewolves or to scare local townsfolk into hiring them for added protection.
