Forced herself to grow up quick in order to protect her little sister while her father the magic crafting merchant was at work. He wouldn't be able to handle losing a second daughter after losing a wife of almost 20 years. (miscarriage between Katarina and Caroline)
Being older and more understanding she has gained glimpses that Taric Vinmark and her father are trying to figure out exactly what has happened to her mother, Catherine Faux, but is unsure the severity in lengths and means in which they have been a part of.

Instead of worrying about it thus far she has been secretly developing her Summoner skills and spells, another aspect that the girls received from their mother and a bit of their Bard father.
She teeters the line on a regular basis. A player of games with her sister keeps her in a younger mind set. Taric used to drop her off all the books in his massive collection in a search for answers to Oppara's troubles.
