Caroline never really knew her mother, Catherine Faux. With the passing of Catherine when Caroline was too young to remember her, Caroline's sister Katarina Faux became her defacto mother.
Raised by her sister, she maintained her childhood inocense dispite her father not being around much. When he was around it seemed the Uncle Taric was not far off.
Her childhood allowed her to spend time climbing rocks, finding nooks, and somehow getting into (and out of) precarious situations.
