Mana Requiem
Ever since the Great Scouring, those who have had their magic stripped away from them have tried to create their own methods of artificial magic. One such attempt revolved around creating a machination to infuse raw Jochuynyx with people or objects. This device was given the name of the Mana Requiem. All other knowledge of its creation has since been lost, as the Beisha Church has all but erased it from history in an effort to discourage similar developments in the future, leaving just enough to serve as a cautionary tale to those who seek to interfere with nature.
Utility
One type of relic created by the Mana Requiem was theBlood Gauntlets, gloves that could give even a Non-Mage great magical power, but at the cost of their own lifeblood. Most creations produced by Mana Requiem had a similar effect.
Manufacturing
For the simplest results, plant matter from a variety of biomes was dug up and crushed by a crank-activated pulley.
Social Impact
Most of the people who used Mana Requiem were met with gruesome demises as a result of their attempts to artificially harvest magic. Upon hearing reports of such bizarre, violent incidents, the Beisha Church eventually found the Mana Requiem and destroyed it with the dual intentions of making sure that something like it could never misuse the world's magic, or bring harm to anyone else ever again.
Access & Availability
The Mana Requiem was a closely held secret by the Brotherhood of Scourged. The only reason it was discovered at all was a series of peculiar deaths resulting from its outputs. It was destroyed by the Beisha High Priests afterwards.
