The Ten

The original ten were the first true deities of Seori. They have all since been destroyed or lost during the invasions of The Óvættrs. Gods cast long shadows on Seori; these shadows take the forms of avatars. While a god is bound by their nature, their avatars exhibit a bit more flexibility and self-determination. A god would often work through their avatar to accomplish things that they could not do directly.
The gods were often thought of as belonging to three distinct sub-pantheons: the natural order, universal law, and sentience. Only Inevitability, was not considered a part of one of these sub-pantheons, although he maintained strong connections to the god of Change, through there respective avatars, Galadar and Orrick.
