Anara Inserra
Anara is an elf from Mellesyn with long blonde hair parted around pointed ears, bright, almond-shaped blue eyes, clear skin, and a lithe, fit figure. She is known for her graceful dancing, and is also a woodsinger, a rare elf with the ability to shape living or dead wood via song.
Anara had been planning to visit Tyrness to train as a dancer, however she was kidnapped when the dragon Resvarygrath atacked Mellesyn. She is now held in the Obsidian Palace where Essryl is teaching her martial arts, including an Illisyr lightning technique.
Ruethwyn has had a crush on Anara, who is five years older than her, for at least a decade but has never said anything. She is determined to rescue Anara.

Anara was rescued from the Obsidian Palace by Ruethwyn. She continues to train with Essryl and plans to accompany Ruethwyn as she explores the world.
