Exiled Kingdom of Aenuleria

As the elven race grew and created towns throughout the great forest, each town believed that the right to govern belonged with each respective town. Contact with other races stressed a greater need for a central voice of the people, to represent the interests of all elves in the realm. This led to an unfortunate schism between the Wild and High elves. The Ard’nisse believed that a single voice was needed, as the neighboring dwarves and humans had. The Fyane’nisse believed that the governance of old could largely be kept intact, by creating a council comprised of each town leader. As arguments to sway the Fyane’nisse failed, the Ard’nisse attempted to seize the capital by force. Galrenir, a popular Ard’nisse who believed himself the best candidate for king, led the movement. The uprising was successful in gaining control of Ard’byeel, but their victory was short-lived. The various other towns banded together, and the more numerous Fyane’nisse regained control of the capital. After doing so, the towns formed the Teyan’a’Loinnir. The first official act of the Council of Loinnir was to pass judgement for the attempt at seizing power. Galrenir was sentenced to submersion, and all of his followers were exiled.     In exile, the high elves ventured north to the Black Mountains. With the wild elf reverence of nature, few ventured to that rocky region. It was there in the easily defended mountains that the exiles would settle. Ard’dyanir (High Keep) was shaped magically, as the trees had been, with the mountain rock providing tall black walls to the new town. Centuries of life spent amongst the Mor’gren led to a longing for greenery that could not exist in the harsher climate. An answer was found in the fortunate placement of the town itself. In the mountainside was found a wealth of precious stones. The greatest of buildings was created from shaped emerald, which other prominent structures following suite in earthen colored gems. Pathways were constructed of shaped opal, with mountainous trees placed along them.
