Fletcher Earengale
Fletcher is an Aerian native, and the best friend of Keriya Soulstar. Of an age with her, and a fellow social pariah and societal outcast, Fletcher and Keriya became fast friends in their early childhood, and have maintained a close bond ever since.
Fletcher is the firstborn of Tomas and Mariah Earengale. He has a younger brother, Asher, and though the two have never been close, Fletcher loves his all his family members unconditionally.
After Tomas Earengale was killed in the Felwood, Fletcher's family fell into disrepute. They were moved to the northwestern section of Aeria, the unfashionable part of the village where members of the lowest castes are relegated. This was the beginning of Fletcher's social isolation. His peers used it as another excuse to make fun of him, and eventually he had no friends except for Keriya herself.
Fletcher was also scorned because he was a weak magic wielder. He was barely able to accomplish anything with his earthmagic beyond the simplest of manipulation spells. Because of this deficiency, he was eventually deemed unworthy to participate in the Ceremony of Choice. This is considered a disgrace in Aerian culture, and it reflected poorly on Fletcher's whole family.
