Session #2 Report
General Summary
After a late-night of celebration at the Summer Festival, the four friends wake up in Apollo Musa’s room under Hana’s Teahouse to find their group has a fifth member. A woman by the name of Luo Xiyan. Who informs them of the guest upstairs who wishes to speak to them. Uncertain as to what awaited them, they cautiously met with a shady figure who was the lone patron of the Teahouse that afternoon.
He offered them an opportunity to travel to the Shipwreck Coast to slay a giant crab to acquire a Naginata impaled in the creature’s shell. Hearing the man out, Greatmother Hana told them of another job opportunity to consider from the Silver Guard who wanted the party to investigate why they lost contact with Silver Hold and to solve the issue. After assessing their options, they decided to take the Investigation job.
To get there, the party was granted passage on one of the Silver Guard’s boats along with Arata, who was tasked with escorting both the party and two prisoners (Shin the escaped convict and Choko the child pickpocket). On their journey they got to meet with these individuals, and as they were talking to Akinari (The woman captaining the boat) a river monster attacked the boat, swallowing the woman whole. With the quick acting of the crew on deck, they were able to save Akinari’s life and chase off the beast for the time being. What else awaits them on this journey?
