Night Lord

The title of Night Lord holds an immense amount of responsibilities within The Obsidian Syndicate. The Night Lord is second only to The Ebony Serpent himself. There are twelve Night Lords, each one a master of their trade, and they form The Ebony Serpent's council of trusted advisors.
The Night Lords are chosen based on merit any loyalty to the Syndicate. Each one has proven themselves through hard-fought battles, strategic triumphs, and unwavering loyalty. Their ranks encompass various professions - seasoned warriors, savvy merchants, cunning spies, and even powerful sorcerers. The diverse backgrounds of the Night Lords ensure a wide range of skills and perspectives, which The Ebony Serpent utilizes to maintain the Syndicate's iron grip on Port Obsidian.

Maintaining Order:

Each Night Lord is responsible for enforcing the rules of the Syndicate and maintaining order among its members. Any violations of the Syndicate's code are dealt with swiftly and without mercy, often with the offending party being brought before a council of Night Lords for judgment.

Resource Management:

Night Lords must manage the resources for their sector, a warrior may be in charge of making sure there is enough supply of arms and armaments for the Syndicate's troops.

Recruitment and Training:

Each of the Night Lords are responsible for recruiting and training new members of the Syndicate into each of their sectors.

Strategic Planning:

When it comes to general operations the Night Lords must be swift to plan for the future of the Syndicate making sure the strategic plans are efficient and growth oriented.

Council Conclaves:

On at least a weekly basis all Night Lords must participate in the conclaves where they report plans and activites to The Ebony Serpent. If they need support or run into issues they organize amongst each other to resolve them.
Being a Night Lord is a position of great power, but not one for the faint of heart. Those who become a Night Lord submit their life to the work of the Syndicate.
