Port Obsidian

Port Obsidian is the largest freeport in Seiderheim. It rests within jagged cove where obisidian forms a natural harbor, the obsidian also poses great threat to inexperienced sailors due to the jet black hull tearing rocks lying below the surface. Other dangers lurk within the black depths of the sea there but are kept at bay by some of the more experienced inhabitants.   The port is run by many local organizations with The Obsidian Syndicate at their helm.   The architecture of Port Obsidian is an amalgamation of style that reflects the diversity of being a freeport. Stout Dwarven stone buildings stand amongst elegant Elven towers interspersed with Gnomish clockwork creations, and yet there are still monolithic obsidian towers that loom above.   The port is a constant hive of activity with ships of all sizes and colors docking and departing at all hours, due to the consequences of fighting within the port you don't often see ships fighting each other. There is minimal fighting in Port Obsidian, the general rule is keep it quick and clean it up before anyone notices. The harbor is always bustling with the loading and unloading of crates, barrels, and mysterious packages while under the surveilance of the watchful eyes of the syndicate. The city's network of secret tunnels and hidden chambers are all rumored to be syndicate controlled.   The markets of Port Obsidian deal in all goods if you know who to talk to and where to look. The prices of goods here change at a whim and you best watch your coinpurse if you're doing any shopping. All sales are final when dealing with illicit goods, and be careful what you trade for as you would not want to end up owning property belonging to the syndicate.
