Hung
Where the party gathered and met near the Bounty Board. Here they also met the local tavern owner, a distraught farmer, and the Commander of the Knights of Waukeen.
A diverse city made up of retired pirates and the paladins who once hunted them. This is now considered a generally peaceful city with a low crime rate (though there are a few upstart gangs who've tried to change that). The fort is still a heavily protected fortress, governed by the Knights of Waukeen. Though many common folk moved to the city for the low crime rate and peaceful reputation, many adventurers and fortune-seekers travel here for the city's oldest and most famous attraction: the Bounty Board of Hung.
Districts
Northgate
Northgate is home to the majority of Hung's middle-class or working citizens. Although the majority of Northgate residents are Human or Half-Orc, it is still a relatively diverse community known for its many festivals (usually those associated with Waukeen).Cherry Docks
Narthgate's Cherry Docks are largely occupied by private vessels and storage units belonging to Northfate's residents.Tailors' Pass
Tailors' Pass got its name from the unusually high percentage of clothiers who established stalls and shopfronts in the area, but contrary to its name, this district has wares of all kinds. Indeed, as one of Basbia's main port cities, it is one of the largest markets in the country. However, although goods sold here range from cheap to pricy, they are usually practical in nature (compared to goods offered in the yet pricier, Elm Market. In addition to several distinct sub-districts, Tailor's Pass hosts The Keep, from which the Knight Commander runs the city.Snow Docks
The Snow Docks is the largest marina in Hung, boasting a mix of some of the largest and finest merchant and private vessels, as well as well-armed warships, smaller fishing vessels, and pleasure crafts.Wide Valley
But a small sub-district, Wide Valley is perhaps one of the best-known in Hung, if not be name, then by its landmarks: The Bounty Board, along with the most popular of Hung's inns, taverns, and rowdyhalls.Ivyway
Crowding the southwestern gate, Ivy Way sports one of the largest and most diverse ex-pat settlements in the entire West Continent. It gained its name from the original influx of elves and halflings entering Jalany to sell their agricultural goods.Ivyrow
Though densely packed, the residential district of Ivyrow host the residents of Hung's most wealthy citizens. Sitting atop a hill, the fine row houses here are granted beautiful vistas of the bay as well as cool breezes throughout the summer and are spared most floods that plague the city during the storm season. Ivy row is also home to the Mages' Guild, home of The Laboratory, and the most preeminent of wizard universities.Nightsong
Nightsong is the city's largest warehouse district, where most goods are kept for long or short-term storage, be they imported from the ships in the bay, or brought in from the eastern farmlands. Unfortunately, and despite Hung's relatively low crime rate, it also hosts the city's most successful gangs. Wedged between the warehouses and the more prominent Ivyrow district, sit the poorest residents of Hung, often living in communal or temporary housing.Purple Docks
The Purple Docks supposedly get their name from the color of various races' blood frequently spilled (and subsequently mixed) there. Though originally intended to hold the private vessels of the residents of Ivy Row, it became slowly overtaken by the private or business vessels associated with active pirates or other criminal organizations.Elm Market
Although strangely wedged between the wealthy Ivy Row and the more modest homes of the western farmers, this market district boasts some of the finest luxury goods in the region.
