Wintercrest in Lucerne

Meeting with Theyosten's family at their home in Lucerne, the party is able to enjoy the holiday cheer and become acquainted with the town. Theyosten recieves a visitor in his mentor Nightshield Nuvonis, who relays that Theyosten has been summoned to return to the Eliuvian Observatory on Stormlord's Roost once Wintercrest has passed.

Theyosten's family members are the doctors for Lucerne and run their clinic out of their longhouse that also doubles as their home. The party is allowed to take the loft to camp out in, with a warm fire and warm meals taking them through the winter days. Ann is invited to come up from St Kleros to spend Wintercrest. Jake is able to find a clue to his former crew, the chest once belonging to his father who passed the captainship of the Shadowcat. It was in the possession of an ecentric wizened figure who runs the general store. This chest is coated in a permenant rime of ice.   Close to Wintercrest, the party performs a divination ritual and has a collective trip. 2 days before Wintercrest Theyosten's mentor Nightshield Nuvonis arrives to spend the holiday with his pupil and also deliver a message that he has been summon back to the Observatory and will need to make a treacherous climb to the peak of Stormlord's Roost. The party leaves the day after Wintercrest.
