Impilturians

The Humans that inhabit the Impiltur Peninsula, and the primary ethnicity of the Empire named after their founder. The original name of the folk was the Merestrites, but due to the influence of the great hero Impilturas I, in his victory against Vyin'denar, a mighty empire was founded by this people, under the wise guidance of both their leader, and the Silver Dragon Nymbryxion. They would expand their territory outside of their original peninsula and expand across the Sea of Fallen Stars, occupying the entire coastline and deep into the interior, becoming the ruling ethnicity of the region. As the power of the Empire waned, the people originally from the peninsula began to draw back into their ancestral homes. Despite this, Impilturian humans are still incredibly widespread, and can be found anywhere they had previously ruled.
