The Treaty of Unison was a treaty signed by both the The Ashvanian Republic and the Holy Ambrion Empire in order to unify the two governments.   The treaty essentially made the TAR into a colony of some sorts of the HAE with independence in how they govern themselves. Although the treaty was not entirely in the benefit of the TAR when Amelia Ashvania signed it, she was more or less forced to in order to protect her citizens and people from a war with the HAE.   War had been looming ever since the planets of the now TAR broke off from the HAE during the The Imperial Schism. The Treaty of Unison was Amelia's only way of protecting her people while still maintaining somewhat of an independent nation away from rirect HAE jurisdiction.
