Transport Rings

Transport Rings are enormous rings created at various locations in the galaxy. These rings can be used to increase the Vortex Velocity / VV of a starship and allow travel to be much faster than entering the Hyper-Vortex without the use of this technology.
They are quite expensive to make and require a lot of energy to use as well. Because of this, the use of this technology is heavily regulated and to use it, there is a price. Not only that, ships are scanned and searched extensively in order to make sure pirates and criminals are not using them which is why most criminals tend to use their regular Vortex Drives in order to navigate the galaxy.
