Askaar has had two wives before, and she loved them greatly. Since the incident which drove her to believe she killed her own daughter, Askaar has kept away from romance or much of a desire for even a casual encounter.
Askaar is the sort who enjoys romance, but is quite old-fashioned about it. This can't be helped, of course; she's several centuries old, and when she was young, she was involved with the women who would become her wives.
Now, a free agent, Askaar quietly searches, hoping she can find someone to trust again. That's what it'll take: a woman she can trust. With this particularly wounded heart, though, Askaar is no easy romance. She's certainly had opportunity to bed a woman, but each time Askaar leaves without going through with it instead.

Accomplishments & Achievements

Askaar was one of the three Heimsricht Hydrae-- a triad of brutally strong warlords. She was a scourge. Perhaps the villainous history isn't precisely an achievement, but she personally killed several very strong warriors who came to end the trio's careers.

Mental Trauma

Askaar is very, very nervous and unsure around small childen. Infants make her break out in a sweat, make her mouth go cold and full of cotton. She can't be in the same room as a crying baby. She starts seeing the blood on her hands.
She's sorry.
Crying children make her feel a plummeting stomach, the sort that makes her want to vomit.
Because of this, Askaar tries to avoid children.

Social

Family Ties

Married at one point to Thalaya and Nerikhal. Together, they were the Heimnsricht Hydrae, a triad of brutal warlords who conquered Heimsricht and brought it under their claw.
Through her brother Valdanr, Askaar has one niece.

Religious Views

Askaar used to believe in the more traditional pantheon of Thirland, but after being tricked into believing she had killed her daughter, Askaar has only found solace in the many arms of Jackal Aran.

Social Aptitude

Askaar is socially sharp, but does not often act as such. She's quiet and rarely bothers to break that silence, unless she is angling for something in return. She knows she is intimidating to behold, and uses this for social leverage when possible.
