S37. The End of the Dragon Report

General Summary

As they left Icespire Keep, Jareth looked back wondering about the spirits that still haunt it, and was gratified to see them lining the parapets with the Lady Warlord inclining her head and offering a salute. They then faded away. They continued down the mountain trail dragon the dragon corpse behind them, and bringing the Reaver prisoner along as well. They spent the night along the trail, and due to a well-cast Gentle Repose, they kept the dragon from decaying and attracting any hungry monsters.
They arrived in Phandalin, were celebrated as heroes, enjoyed some downtime, and joined in the Monnfest observance in town. Stories were told, many remembrances and honoring of the dead, and some juvenile fun and games.
The dragon was propped up in the town center, and displayed as a trophy for all to see.
Torgan announced that now with the Cult of Talos routing, he would be retiring to a nice piece of land he had in mind. He told Kanenas to take up his quest to find the last remaining name on his kill list: Fheralai Stormsworn.
Jareth also announced that he would be heading back up to Icespire Hold to possible convert it to a Monastery and to help care for the spirits there that have not moved on.
