Kyrian Transmutations

"I SEE THROUGH MANY FACES I SEE THROUGH MANY EYES I AM BELOW LOOKING IN   EACH TIME WE MEET YOU DO NOT KNOW ME   I AM THE OBSERVER(WATCHER? KNOWER? SCRIVENER?)   YOU ARE THE DESTROYER HERE TO STOP MY TRUTH   I AM OLDER THAN STORIES   MY INFINITE ARMS REACH INTO MANY SLEEPERS AND THEIRS INTO MANY MORE   YOU CAN NOT STOP ME YOU CAN NOT DEFEAT ME AND IN TIME YOU TOO WILL SING WITH ME"

In the deeper, darker portions of the world, there are whispers of hidden Old Gods. The Great Old One. The Dreamer in the Darkness. The Thing of Rages. The Lord of Eyes. They were all disconnected and unknown... just whispers. Until the Doppleganger Crisis, when it was revealed that a multitude of horrific beings hid among us. Beings so alien that the extra-dimensional beings of the Themes were made mundane spirits by comparison. Beings of infinite eyes, of tendrils of flesh and teeth, of warping skin, of conjoined bodies, of terrible mind-swallowing tentacles. Still, none of this compared to the thesis of Sanev Galen, upon his ascension to High Arcanist, known as The Watcher.   These whispers of ancient Gods, from before the coming of man, from before the wars of Avernus and the Titans in the Jotun Era, were said to be all of a single being, or of a few beings working in tandem. The Watcher(s), known after the Crisis as the Daelkyr.   They have always been there, watching it is said, through all eyes... and take their mastery over the world, over flesh, over minds, and over the core components of the world to spew forth an amalgamation of transmuted and transmogrified organic beings not of an alien dimension, but rather, wholly of our world. Little to none is known of the Daelkyr, but these transmutations plague the hidden portions of the world, and even our own cities, our own governments.   Keep a watchful eye, for their eyes and agents could be in your very home.   Weakness: Elysian Bronze is extremely potent to them, to the point of burning away the flesh like a searing acid. Since The Battle for the Fifth Ward, these weapons are carried by every Warden. This saved us in the Doppleganger Crisis, as it will force the Changelings to lose their form and revert to their true one even more violently than silver does, though it is a unique weakness too.   IN AETERNUM. AD INFINITUM.
