Manoth (MAN OTH)
the Hungering One, the Glutton, Faminemaker
Second born of Raz'ka and Shivad'ress, Manoth, taking after his all devouring father, is the god of hunger, the hunt, and gluttony. Like all Yuan-ti divinities, he is both virtue and vice, and the three earliest gods representing wealth, hunger, and lust are seen by the serpent men to represent the most basic of desires. As an actual deity, Manoth is offered sacrifices out of fear and placation. It is said that when Manoth is not properly sated by his faithful, he will consume all food from the land and usher in great famines. The Yuan-ti are also aware that too many living things would drain the resources of their jungle homes and as such purging famines, diseases, and disasters are seen of be a regular part of the cycle.

Physical Description
General Physical Condition
Of all the major Yuan-ti deities, Manoth is the least mortal in appearance. His body is said to be large, powerful, and obese, but most notable is that is head is that of a fearsome serpent or frog. Interestingly enough, this does appear to follow an older style of representing their gods which merged both humanoid and animal features while the other gods have moved away from such depictions, Manoth's has not changed. One theory regard this is that as a god of consumption, Manoth of all the serpent gods has the least need to appeal to his followers desire; he has no need to appear as anything other than monstrous.
Mental characteristics
Intellectual Characteristics
Among the yuan-ti gods, Manoth is often depicted as the most simple and animalistic (as evidenced as him being the only one that still appears merged with an animal). As a god primarily associated with the need for food, his worship is strongest with the lower castes of yuan-ti society, and the god's lack of higher intellect may refect yuan-ti perception of his followers.
