As a long-serving homicide detective working out of Precinct 10 in Chelsea, Lt. Poole has seen the worst New York has to offer. He demonstrates a practical no nonsense approach to his investigations.
The investigators met Lt. Poole at the Hotel Chelsea when he arrived to investigate the murder of Jackson Elias. He seemed to be either interested or impressed with the knowledge Floyd Musgrove displayed during the initial investigation. He politely, but emphatically, invited the investigators back to the precinct house where they were interview by the lieutenant individually. He advised them of some public details about similar murders, indicated they were not currently suspects in the murder in room 410, but asked that they keep in touch and not leave town right away.
