Fhid'ou Lóm

General introduction

The Fhid'ou Lóm (Duiniken for 'Waiting Hand') is the branch of the royal family of the Duiniken believed to have expired with the supposed end of the Talmoudahhian dynasty. In reality though, even though the Duiniken state of Hhrábintein 'ohh Duinis eventually fell apart around the year 1560 of the Era of the Earth, the family had spread into the very heart of the Duinikens new realm Nuat Duinis Talou, forming this very organisation.

It was 'Oghan, the first born son of Rian, who was sent to Nuat Duinis Talou under the custody of Sia 'ohh Manhhadh, the then advisor of the king in magical matters. Sia infiltrated the board of advisors in magical matters of the Duiniken in Nuat Duinis Talou and planted 'Oghan, whom he fostered and trained there, further imbuing him with hatred against and a determination to overthrow the local dynasty, claiming leadership over the Duiniken once again after the Battles for the Reunification of the People and their Flag.

Known members and history

After having made their way into the advisory board, the branch of the family was set up for success. Even if a member did not make it into the council, they still lived of ammassed riches from that position and spent their time bringing forth a more talented heir, who, being in the upper strata of the society, could then reenter the more intimate cycle around the king.

Giving an extensive list of all the family would be long and tedious, but it should be noted, that depending on their position, be it closer to the ruling house or further away, members put more emphasis on keeping the family's standing, do research conducive to overthrowing the king or espionage.

Three members who were especially effective in one of the fields must be mentioned, though.
Mairreid 'en Bahh, who lived around 2100 of the Era of the Earth accomplished the feat of having a new title introduced into the kingdom. This title was that of Súrai Chahhleid Tehairéhh (Eternal Friend of the Family), which was first granted to the Talmoudahhian infiltrators and bound the Fhid'ou Lóm forever close to the dynasty.
Not long after, around 2250, Fiadna Ta'ahhein made a fortune selling Duiniken secrets to the Suadleyn to the north, guaranteeing their survival against the proceeding Duiniken troops and also generating enough wealth from this deal so the Talmoudahhians and thus the Fid'ou Lóm were forever in a financially stable position.
The newest feat was only recently achieved, when the researcher Sluin Cihhmár found a source about the Crystal of Dominance, a powerful artifact crafted by Okoteksha, a god walking Samthô during the Mythological Era.

It is the son of the latter, Deinteir 'ohh Máhhdán, who has been placed in the advisory board in magical matters of the current king to bring about his doom.
