Stonewell

Stonewell is a town in northern Hastum. It is known for its mines and quarries, which are an important source of precious metal and stone in the province.
Following Third Brukian-Hastumite war, the town saw a rapid increase in population as a wave of foreigners arrived to take part in the mining operations. Along with the migrants came a a new generation of buildings, which have sprouted outside the historically small settlement's walls.
The town is located in the foothills of the Twilight's Teeth mountains, just north of the spring from which the River Enwe originates. The surrounding Wildwood has shaped the locals to be inward-facing and hardy, as the woods are full of strange and terrible beasts, known to prey on travelers, disguised in the form of men.
