The Voiceless

The Voiceless are a rebel faction comprised of hastumites seeking to overthrow the governorial Brukian regime and instate their chosen Tribune in its place. They also oppose the noble Great Houses, who they view as a corrupt and self-serving institution, acting in collusion with the invaders.
The rebels are comprised mostly of lower-class hastumite citizenry. They are occasionally aided by foreigners sympathetic to their cause. They hold no settlements aside from the Bitter Lake Sanctum at the source of River Endu. They operate from hiding, and surely maintain a presence in all major settlements of the region.
They are one of the Major factions in Hastum, and their main goals are as such:

Removal of Brukian authority from Hastum.

Limiting the influence of the Great Houses in Hastum.

Establishment of a new Tribunal regime, to be chosen and maintained by the citizens.

The Voiceless seek to instate a new regime in Hastum that is not dependant on the old nobility. As such, the Great Houses view them as direct a threat to the traditional institution of power. However, there are some among the nobles who sympathize with their goals.

The Voiceless are in open revolt against the governorial regime set by Brukia. The rebels frequently ambush, raid and assassinate brukian caravans and military figures, who in turn do their best to weed out the rebellion.
