Hastum

Hastum is a realm which lies between the Masturi Domain to the west and the The Middle Kingdoms to the east.
Known widely as the Land of a Thousand Shrines, Hastum is known for its wealth and numerous sites of worship. Others consider their practices of ancestor worship and necromancy blasphemous to the gods.
In the last two months, the promise of treasure has lured many archaeologists, tomb raiders and soldiers of fortune into this province of deep forests and hidden gold. As the hordes of treasure hunters scramble to plunder the ancestral tombs, there are also those who wish to protect these sites, or at least reclaim and hide the sacred relics of their family.
Since 1533 P.E, the region has belonged under the control of The Kingdom of Brukia. Brukian interests in the region are overseen by Governor Livia, who resides in the great city of Gal-Aralu. The Brukian military has a strong presence in the city, including a garrison of The Gilded Hand
