Xendros
Captain (a.k.a. She-Devil, Captain Coin)
Overview
Xendros is the head priest and chief ambassador of the Faithful Quartermasters of Iuz, as well as the commanding officer of the ship Misery Cord. Straight to the point and not one to drag out a negotiation over the price of things, she keeps to herself when not conducting business.
Personality
She has been an excellent guest in Saltmarsh with not one complaint or concern raised against her. Salts might be put off by her skull themed jewelry and sepulchral voice, but she's a tiefling after all and they're a strange lot anyways.
Beliefs
Whatever they believe in the Empire of Iuz they keep it to themselves.
Endeavors
Besides being a wholesale purchaser of preserved fish, Xendros is also a broker for a weekly rotation of magical goods. She requires all that would shop her wares pay a weekly retainer of fifty gold pieces just to view her merchandise and do business.
Any who cannot afford her fee are a waste of her time and her cargo. For your coin's worth and with enough advanced notice, Xendros can even procure some specific items, as what the lands of Iuz lack in agricultural resources they more than make up for with magical talents.
She is also willing to buy magical items--that is, if Keledek doesn't catch wind of them first. There is one item, however, that she is always willing to make a deal for: an Apparatus of Kwalish, a kind of magic-mechanical vehicle in the shape of a crustacean, which she believes to be somewhere in the region.
