Morethalas (MOR-AY-THAL-ASS)
Morethalas is the homeland of the Elves. It is a wooded, dark, magical place. Littered throughout, between this tree and that one, but not that one, and out again at this creek, are entrances to the Feywild. This primal source of magic is the cause of Eshor's bizarre ecology, a nation so northward would normally be a tundra or cold forest, but the wild winds of the Feywild have made it an productive and wild place.
History
- From eternity until 425, the Elves and Fey lived together in various states of peace and mischief. During the Wars of Invasion, as the Elves call it, the other 'Noble Races' conquered Morethalas and eventually it was annexed as part of Tarren Undermere's kingdom of Eshor in 457.
- 1117: Morethalas rose up against LINKTarlos Undermere XIV and succeeded in creating a subsystem of self-rule from the Undermere dynasty.
- 1165: LINKQueen Aila Undermere, Morethalas-born, leaves her husband LINKTarquin Undermere for LINKFools' Last Stand and inspires a wave of protests and agitation for complete autonomy.
