Sake Den

Purpose / Function

The Sake Den exists as a venue of relaxation, social interaction and a place to stay for travellers and those seeking temporary housing till they earn their own place in Sakura. As well as for the local populace to unwind and drink the night away with the Den's own produced sake, local cuisine made fresh from local ingredients by owner and Chef Illuminel Mercuria , the Sake Den also makes bento meal boxes for not just the village but Black Lotus Dojo students.

Alterations

Since the change of ownerships, the Sake Den has had it's kitchen expanded to include a storeroom and cold room. The games hall below has expanded to include a small noh theatre and stage for entertainment and fashion shows with the adjoined dressing room. The ryokan now has another level for residents including a bath house, relaxation lounge and dining room. The onsen area now has extra features, including a massage room and switches to change mood lighting and the onsen to allow mixed and co-ed bathing.

History

It was started by the Wulv twins (Saewynn and @Mionwyrm Wulv) but when Saewynn left on her personal journey and Miowynn showed no interest in operating it herself, Illuminel Mercuria was introduced to Sakura and offered the Sake Den by Councillor Echika Hikari and Lord Regent Ichigatsu Angelf d'Eath .

Before the latest rush of growth to the village it used to be the village's only drinking establishment, restaurant, and place to stay for travelers who didn't live in the village.
