Minokita Island
Minokita Island is located in Wystrys Bay, near the town of Gwymonae. Its coast is made of steep rocky cliffs, with pockets of pebble beaches, shrouded in thick mist from the sea. The waters near the island are dotted with large rocks, and many miniature lagoons and flooded caves can be found. The island is covered with small twisted conifer trees, some growing right out of the cliffside. Further inland, the ground is covered with shrubs, ferns, and tall grasses.
The island has been recognized by Gwymonae as an important cultural place for the Ayoskatikwa Tribe. The town has made a law stating that people need permission from the Ayoskatikwa Cultural Center to go on the island, and nothing can be built or taken from there. This has resulted in lots of boat tours that go around the island without landing on it.
