Cenipedrcym
A small town located on the meadowy hills and sea cliffs overlooking the Grenedwr Delta where it flows out into the sea. The town's location makes it an ideal place for travelers and merchants to dock before heading further inland or elsewhere along the coast. The regular thick mists and chilling rainclouds of the are make the town's lighthouse essential for these travelers' safety. These conditions make Cenipedrcym a very diverse town with small welcoming community of permanent residents.
Small but Sturdy
The near constant drizzle along the coast makes Cenipedrcym unappealing to stay in for long, meaning it doesn't have many long-term inhabitants. While the town's main commerce comes from the movement of people and exchange of goods, it also subsists off of its own farms up in the hills, and the bounties found in the surrounding waters. Cenipedrcym's dreary conditions are a part of what brings the local community close together to share meals, music, or lend a hand in general.Openstars Theatre
Regular community gatherings lead Cenipedrcym's townsfolk to build a small outdoor theatre. It consists of a raised plank circle for a stage, surrounded on one side with a long shed serving as the backstage and storage facilities, and the other side providing an open grassy area for chairs, blankets, and a fire pit. Some of its traditional plays include the comedic, yet complex "The Farmer & The Dragon", the epic drama "The Fall of Good King Ren", and the mysterious tragedy of "The Seafarer's Reflection". In addition to plays, many long-term community members gather at the theatre space for campfire storytelling and music. The Bustling Docks
Nestled at the bottom of the cliffs the town is built upon, are its harbors. The docks are very crowded throughout the day with travelers, fisherman, and dockworkers, as boats arrive and depart, and goods are unloaded and moved. Notable features include the Seacliff Tavern on a hillcrest just above the harbor, a large dry-dock for repairs, and The Sunken Light, a famed fishing and treasure hunting vessel. The Old Lighthouse
Cenipedrcym's lighthouse is one of the town's oldest buildings, illuminating the sharp rocks at the base of cliffs by the sea. It stands at the edge of the meadows surrounding Cenipedrcym, a short walk away from the town proper. No one actually recalls seeing anyone enter or exit the lighthouse in recent years, though it continues to shine. Perhaps out of superstition, no town dwellers dare enter it, and some claim to have seen faint red shapes in its light.
