Sailbridge Pirates
"And remember, everyone! Don't steal all their treasure and cash! After all, what else are we gonna come back for when they rebuild their wealth?"A crew of pirates led by the free-spirited Marina Curissar. Though they are technically pirates, they're more along the lines of "sailing adventurers that like to rob rich people" than anything else, as they try to avoid more serious crimes that could get them attention. Formed after Marina ran away from home, she needed friends to help her survive out in the ocean, so she hired or persuaded people to join her cause. Together, they sail the waters of Benito looking for anything exciting, whether it be an unknown land or some legendary treasure. Due to their constant misadventures and Marina's true identity slipping out, they have earned some degree of authority among those that they have met, which only strengthened as the number of people they saw turned into a network of allies. As such, Marina has been referred to as one of the ocean's "pirate queens," providing a comparatively friendly face to contrast the other queen, Nadia Alabaster.
Structure
Marina is the captain of the Sailbridge Pirates. Though she is the only one with a title of authority, the crew mostly treats each other like a group of friends that look out for each other, resulting in a very casual environment. It helps that there was never a "formal" recruitment method for Marina. If anyone wanted to find adventure, they could join! If they seemed useful but on the fence about joining, Marina would try to persuade them using various negotiation tactics or her beautiful charms to convince them.
Unsurprisingly, the crew is mostly made up of men.
Public Agenda
The Sailbridge Pirates simply aim to have a good time on an adventure, robbing any rich politician or other people in power just because they can. They do not, however, attempt to murder or ruin the lives of anyone too much. How else are they gonna recover their wealth so it can be robbed again?
Assets
Aside from their constantly shifting hoard of money, weapons, and other treasures they find and sell, the pirates have an armed yacht that they call the Sea Scout. It is fitted with a small amount of turrets and a cannon to take down thicker ship hulls. It is capable of sailing rather fast, but has been blown up at least thrice by Nadia Alabaster's fleet. What a bitch.
