Lucius was a low-ranking gunner that was assigned to the same unit as Lapua Lindholm, where he used his precise aiming skills and magic to get his allies out of danger. Though not nearly as notorious as his ex-wife, the duo would almost always be seen near each other. After Lapua was discharged following a botched facility raid, Lucius followed her and helped her get a job to treat her Selenite Sickness. Friendly and passionate, yet slightly pushy and obnoxiously hammy, Lucius remains loyal to Lapua despite their less-than-amicable divorce. Together, they both seek to eliminate the Feral Curse for their people and for themselves by setting off on finding possible leads for a cure. And who knows? Maybe the love of his life might return his feelings again. Maybe.

A thin, triangular "scar" marking on both cheeks, with the tip pointing diagonally towards the middle of his face.
Special abilities
- Elusive Shot: Opens a small portal over the barrel of Lucius' guns that lead to a target, allowing a point-blank shot from what would be a long distance. Perfect for surprise attacks! Originally it was a spell used by archers, but Lucius was too lazy to learn archery and stuck to guns.
- Broken Order/Order Restored: A spell used to disrupt select individuals in a 20-foot radius. Those affected by Broken Order will be stunned and frozen in place for a few seconds, leaving them open to attacks or stunned long enough for Lucius to escape. Those affected by Order Restored will have this effect undone, but to help prevent anyone from dying on the battlefield, the spell also has a healing effect among any wounded individuals within the same 20-foot radius. The healing usually isn't strong enough to close up everything, but it's typically enough to prevent death or get allies back on their feet.
- Static Field: Creates multiple bolts of lightning that act as homing "missiles" to anything Lucius considers an enemy within 20 feet. Has a more dangerous version, Static Tempest, which creates a lightning field around him in a 20-foot radius that is much more difficult to control.
- Replication: A spell designed to create various objects from magic. Lucius mostly uses this to generate more ammo when he runs dry or when he needs bullets with special properties. Since he isn't particularly adept at using it very well, however, objects he creates do not last very long before dissipating, forcing him to use the spell sparingly.
- Confusion Burst: A concussive blast from both guns at once. The bolt fired from them is meant to knock the opponent unconscious. There's honestly nothing particularly special about this move, but Lucius is pretty proud of what amounts to feeding his guns extra mana to give people headaches.

Specialized Equipment
- Dual HG-56 "Restrainer" Blasters: A pair of two handguns created by the Snow Elvish arms company, Arctaris Industries. It was designed for law enforcement officers in Niflheim to deliver strong impacts via magically generated energy blasts. Unlike its civilian counterpart, the MOZ-50, the HG-56 is able to control the amount of force it shoots out from "painful punch" to "steel-denting bone cracker" or, if charged enough, what Lucius describes as "an explosion of chunky salsa." It uses standard ammunition batteries that can only fire approximately ten bolts before a reload is required, less so if lethal charged shots are used. However, to compensate for its unimpressive ammo capacity, the HG-56 is compatible with specialized magical bolts. The gunner can even channel their magic into the gun to create their own ammo, but this requires more skill to use properly without the use of Replication spells.
- Bulletproof Vest: Self explanatory, honestly. Lucius wears this under his coat to prevent any shots from piercing him. This is in direct contrast to Lapua, who no longer fears death and outright challenges the enemy to shoot her and make it count.
- Combat Knife: An emergency knife to use in close quarters. Lucius is apparently saving up money for a flashier looking blade as well as a Benitian marriage knife.

Personal history
Lucius decided to fight in the Kendani Civil War after seeing his friends get abused by people from the Sunstone Empire. He was eventually assigned onto the same unit as Lapua, where he used his magic and marksmanship to keep his allies out of trouble when a scuffle got out of hand. Eventually, he fell in love with Lapua after getting to know her, and these feelings continued even after she became more unhinged by the constant fighting. The two wolves were so close that it was a common tease among the other soldiers that if it weren't for the fact that Lapua can, indeed, function like a normal person outside of combat, Lucius would be the one thing keeping her happy.
After his unit was discovered during a raid on a facility designed to boost the fighting prowess of the Empire's soldiers, Lapua became infected with Selenite Sickness and was discharged for multiple offenses she committed during their escape. Caring about her health more than anything else, Lucius followed her and left the military to secure a job that would help pay for her treatment. Thanks to his many connections in Swallow's Tower Shipping Company, he was able to get not only himself but Lapua hired as security guards, allowing them to work together once again.

Lucius used to work as a soldier in the Beast's Sanctum military, but currently works as a security guard for Swallow's Tower Shipping Company.
Mental Trauma
Lucius greatly fears dragons and by extension ophicans, as he is simply afraid of creatures with a lot of large, sharp teeth, with dragons being the hardest to deal with.
Morality & Philosophy
Despite signing up for a war, Lucius is actually not fond of hurting others and tried to avoid killing people during his time as a soldier. To do this, he learned spells that he could use without dealing any lethal damage and uses magitech blasters that he can control the power of. Lucius appears to regret joining the military at all, but he's glad that he at least met the love of his life there.
Lucius, like most other kendani, wishes to live life peacefully as he does whatever brings him and those he loves some happiness. Though he does not fear the day he eventually becomes a haze beast, he hopes that it doesn't happen for many years to come so that he can continue to see Lapua's face again. Upon hearing that Lapua wanted to cure the Feral Curse, he was delighted to tag along (much to her dismay) and joins her search whenever they have a day off.

Motivation
Outside of curing the Feral Curse alongside Lapua, Lucius simply wishes to live out his life in peace, hopefully winning back his ex-wife's love in the process.

Friendly, cheerful, and very passionate in regard to many things, especially love. He is loyal to a fault and will never give up on them, believing that he would rather die trying to help someone out of danger than running away to save himself.

Lucius can be rather pushy towards others when he wants something to be done. He also seems to have a self-serving memory most of the time and doesn't bother to acknowledge that he did something wrong. It took Lapua divorcing him for him to realize just how much he doesn't consider how others feel and how often he screws up. Since then he has tried to change himself for the better, hoping that he could at least repair their relationship, but even if he can't then at least he could help her find happiness later.

Relationships
History
Lucius and Lapua were both soldiers during the Kendani Civil War, fighting alongside each other in the same unit. They eventually grew closer as they fought until they fell in love. When Lapua was discharged from the kendani military, Lucius followed her and not long afterward, the rushed into marriage. Unfortunately, a series of poor communication between each other and other minor issues that piled up and continuously escalated resulted in them divorcing after only four months. Now, the two ex-lovers work together as security guards for the ships of Swallow's Tower Shipping Company, a job that Lucius helped Lapua get into easily with the help of various connections. Lucius, despite their ugly divorce, still harbors deep feelings for Lapua and wants to change for the better, hoping that he can rebuild a relationship after fixing everything else. Lapua, on the other hand, claims to have been too hurt by Lucius' mistakes too often to try again, but deep inside she knows she still has some lingering feelings and appreciates his loyalty and company...despite saying and acting otherwise. Will the two wolves get together again? Hell if I know. The boy sure tries hard, though.
