A country that controls the eastern side of Areon. Benito was formed by former citizens of Lunaria that sailed across the ocean to find another method into Ophica. When their ship was blown away by a storm, they ended up in Areon, where they tried to survive for years until they spread across the continent with the native humans. After creating many settlements across the eastern coasts, the humans declared themselves a country and, with some aid from Oruk'tai, became the nation of Benito, named after the gemstone benitoite.
As a country, Benito is rather iconoclastic compared to Lunaria. As time passed, its citizens began to reject Lunarian traditions, including religions such as Lunarism. This has put them at odds with the orcs of Oruk'tai, as they are highly devout believers of this religion and selenite as a whole. However, by developing their own identity as a country, Benito has become very prosperous and wealthy, being responsible for most of Sagrea's maritime trade.

Assets

Benito boasts the largest and most powerful navy in Sagrea. They are also very wealthy due to their influence in most of the world's maritime trade. As a result, the nation is rather famous among merchants and adventurers who wish to find rare items to buy or sell.

Foreign Relations

While Benito is not hostile with any nations, they are not on the best of terms with Oruk'tai due to their rejection of selenite-focused religions. They are otherwise neutral toward each other, however.
