Lunaria

One of Frigus' first kingdoms of the penumbral cycle. After a large chunk of what was thought to be from one of Sagrea's moons fell to the earth, devout worshipers of Lunarism formed a settlement around it to become closer to their gods. Now known as the kingdom of Lunaria, the church ruled as a theocracy with a puppet king/queen to represent their will.
However, during the beginning of the umbral cycle, something corrupted the divine seers that served as a messenger for the gods, spurning the citizens to take action. Enlisting the Freyja tribe's assistance, the Lunarian people successfully led a revolution against the nobility, resetting the "noble bloodline" and turning the kingdom into a modified monarchy. While their connection to the gods has been damaged, Lunaria recovered enough to be more prosperous than ever, becoming a favorable haven for traveling adventurers thanks to its new, more "open" royalty and customs.

Structure

Elected monarchy. While there is still a class of royalty, the concept of a "pure" royal bloodline no longer exists due to the Freyjan Revolution. As a result, the royals are technically free to choose who they marry, and commoners even have a chance of being "elected" into the social class by themselves. This usually involves the individual either proving themselves worthy in the eyes of the current royalty or simply being rich/influential enough to be considered a higher-class citizen.

Demography and Population

Lunaria controls a large portion of western Frigus. Its population is filled with all sorts of races and ethnic groups, but most of them are Lunarian humans.
