Minataurus
Minataurus is the third layer of The Nine Hells. Previously controlled by Grosgan, it is now controlled by Zariel after a significant planar battle.
Geography
The entirety of the third Hell consists of a massive, twisting labyrinth. Unlike most labyrinths, Minataurus does not stay on a level plane, instead having both upwards and downwards paths that sometimes have no reasonable way to traverse them. It also seems to ignore the laws of physics, with some rooms being far too large to make sense for where they are and some doors allowing entry to areas they should not. Some have even noted that going back through a door does not always lead back to where it came from, though there have not been reports of a door leading to more than one place if entered from the same side each time. Because of this, some areas of the labyrinth have been mapped out, allowing for safer travels between certain zones.
Fauna & Flora
The labyrinth hosts a surprising amount of unique fauna. Vampillions live here exclusively, along with the Devil Crabs which are often considered pests and the highly dangerous Leviathan Slimes(species). There are also a number of rarer species that live here, including Rakshasas, Succubi, and Pit Fiends.
Natural Resources
Minataurus is well known for its high supply of Soel, one of the primary currencies of the Nine Hells. It is also known for being one of the best places to make fair deals with various Devils which makes it a popular destination for plane travelers, though not all the deals made here are fair.
