Palekh Academy of Painting

The Palekh Academy of Painting is an arts academy in the capital city of Ketterburg. It was established in 1196 by the great painter Leansky, to pass on his technique of pottery painting to future artists. The technique has remained a closely-guarded secret, with students taking a vow of confidentiality when they enter the academy. The academy is now headed by Leansky's two great-grandchildren, Alexi Orleansky and Alexa Orleansky.
