Harvesters

Clanking metal, thundering hooves...and the sound of a raging furnace is the last one hears upon their approach.
— Pact Shaper
Armored, fiery adjudicators of the Zero Influence Decree set in place by Prince Galestrom of Glemont.   Harvesters are the armored fiery reapers, they are supported by four soldiers, all clad in black armor. The Harvesters are 8 ft tall and slow, the support soldiers are cloaked in something unnatural, it's hard to distinguish their features and they move with unnatural speed. Even Glemont's forces are uneasy when harvesters arrive. If they are not out on patrol, they are instructed by the prince and arrive somewhere with a terrible purpose.   Few survive an encounter with these soot-covered specters. Witnesses have described the gut-wrenching events as inhuman. Harvesters track down their targets, disabling them with power armored strikes. Once pacified, they grip the subject - head, hand, shoulder, or press their armored hand to their chest. Searing flesh can be smelt as the victims scream in agony. Initially, wisps of Aether and Ebb flow out of them into the Harvester, then streams pour forth as they continue to plea for mercy. In the end, the subjects are withered and weak or a charred corpse. Then the Harvester and their squad mount up and leave without comment.

Composition

Manpower

The exact number of Harvesters and their support troops is unknown. Sightings around the Southern Kingdoms suggests a dozen or more active squads.

Structure

The Harvesters do not speak and therefore never issue orders, rather the squad supports and acts in their defense ensuring they can complete their tasks. Orders for the armored horrors are said to come from Prince Galestrom personally, but no proof or evidence has been found that confirms this.

Tactics

The unnamed shrouded support soldiers typically scout an area first, then dismount and handle any opposition that might interfere with the Harvester once it locks onto its target. They use some unidentified magical protection and shroud that conceals their identity. They fight with martial weapons - swords and light crossbows.

Logistics

Logistical Support

Though unconfirmed, it is widely believed that the Harvesters are directed in the field by the Viziers. Once a seer has a target they activate a unit with Glemont's approval.
