Iplith Shimmerscale

The head of the Illudore council, Iplith is probably one of if not the strongest mage on Rugofen. A master of all schools, Iplith was naturally gifted from the start. With a gold dragon for a mother and a sorcerer for a father, he was destined for magic. He cast his first cantrip barely a week after hatching, and his mother took very good care of him both physically and magically. When he left to find his own life, he was already on par with an archmage. So it was only natural that such a powerful mage make their way to Iludore, the unofficial magic capital of Rugofen. He rose through the ranks, eventually earning himself a seat on the council. When the previous headmaster died, he was chosen to take their place. 
Since attaining his position, he has had less time to focus on his own experiments due to running a magocracy. Yet when he find time, he loves finding and talking to interesting creatures, usually from other planes. He has spoken with angels, slaad, modrons, yugoloths, and more. He also loves spending time with Almlak Warpstar, and hearing about his grand space adventures.
