Almlak Warpstar

Almlak was once part of a spelljammer crew. He was in charge of maintaining the ship's defenses, and got a thorough understanding of abjuration while doing so. He claims to have once created a shield so strong they rammed through a nautiloid killing everything inside. No one can confirm nor deny this, but some think he's just boasting. Yet none of his magic helped him one day. As he tells it, they were flying near Rugofen's system when they were attacked by an abberant warship. They fought their bravest, but in the end lost. Almlak managed to get in an escape dingy and fly to Rugofen, where he crashed. Being a potent mage, he didn't doubt his survival, but he was stranded. He didn't know how he would get back to the stars. So he wandered a bit, and eventually came to Iludore. He made a good impression and used his abjuration skill to get a job as a teacher. He rose in rank until he became master of abjuration. Now with his position of power, he has the power to craft a new ship and leave Rugofen behind. But he doesn't want to: not yet. He's enjoying the people and the world he landed on. He does have ship parts squirreled away somewhere, just in case.
