Admiral Reefwall

Admiral Kaerus Reefwall used to be head of the royal guard for King Cyraneus. They lived on a deep ocean expanse, living normal merfolk lives. That is, until until Baron Deepfang turned his conquesting eyes toward their city. An army of sahuagin surrounded the city, stopping supplies from reaching them. Then, once the city had been weakened by the siege, they attacked. The strike was swift and brutal, the merfolk didn't stand a chance. So instead of a defense effort, the king commanded Reefwall to get as many people out as possible. The king would stay, and fight to protect his people while Reefwall got people to safety. Reefwall objected, but he couldn't say no to his king. So he carved a path out of the city, bringing a large population with him. He could only watch in pained silence as the water around his city turned ever more red. But there was nothing left now, so he just led his people onward. He didn't know where, but they kept going. Eventually he found an inlet surrounded by land. This place was as good as any, so they set up a town. Then, they noticed the divers. They had inadvertently built in the bay of Caripearl. The two factions had a rocky start, but with the help of Lord Galewhir the two cities became on united kingdom.
