SW Session 31: Too Cool for Skull.
General Summary
The Shadow Team emmerge victorius from the fighting pits of Greddac. Jaspher The Flame pays them what they are due and informs Leone Laponis that Peitro Rydon had a son who was an apprentice blacksmith.
Bhul, Brokk Stonefist and Ted Burnstien all headed for Zaldris the Shade's magic shop. As promised Zadris gave Bhul his tattoo and appraised the items at the Orc had took from Wanda Rydon. They then headed back to the The Long Rest, Greddac. to sleep off the horror of the fighting pits. Wurm had prepared a feast for them on arrival. Bhul looked at his items, Ted asked questions of Couw and Brokk flirted with a dwarven prostitute.
Meanwhile, Long visited Ember Anvil and asked Kara Voss for a moment with Peitro Rydon Jr. Junior became emotional after learning about the death of his father and told Long that his Father had an item that he needs to give to the Blue Wizard @arborshould his father die. After forceful questioning Long discovered that Rydon Twins were working for the Blue Wizards against the Silent Wind. Long becoming increasibly torn between this young lad and his order commanded that Jr get the item for him.
They arrived at The Twins home and discovered that The Twins were assasinating people across Roken, with Sturt Oakenshield being a future target. After getting the vault door open using his finger, Junior begged Long to get the box instead of him. But Long refused and the moment Junior touched the box his skin melted and his body became an animated skeleton with one command; 'Take the box to the Wizards'. Long killed the skeleton and opened the box. Inside the box was a simple Skull with a note that read,
'Im always one step ahead, love from Cass' Long returned to the Long Rest to find his friends partying. Ted went to return to his room but felt the presence of Nightmare, NIghtmare controlled Ted like a puppet and warned that should the team attempt to get the next Ku-Rath key that NIghtmare will haunt him for eternity.
