Ku-Rath

Ku-Rath is was a large sea-serpent and one of The Torments. It ruled the seas around Gai and destroyed boats, fleets and coastal towns with relitive ease.
It is rumoured that Ku-Rath destoyed a chunk of Roken and formed the Hog Sten. Along with the other Torments it is said that Ku-Rath is not dead but instead contained. The dwarves state that Ku-Rath was only defeated with the help of Vagor.

Ku-Rath, the Titan of the Deep, came to Roken in the age before memory, alongside the two other torments that plunged the world into chaos. A monstrous sea serpent of unimaginable size, his form stretched for miles across the ocean, his scales darker than the abyss, and his eyes burning with the fury of the ancient depths. His arrival heralded a time of doom, as he unleashed his wrath upon the coastal cities and towns of Roken, swallowing entire fleets and reducing proud cities to ruins with his massive tail and tidal waves. The seas were his domain, and none could venture into the waters without inviting destruction. For a centurie, Ku-Rath's reign of terror was unchecked, his fury devastating the lands. The people of Roken lived in constant fear, their civilizations crumbling under his relentless onslaught. But it was during the Dawning, a time of great upheaval, that the tide finally turned. Valor, the god of the dwarves, forged a pact with the elven high lords, uniting their peoples in an alliance that would challenge the Titan. With divine power and the combined might of the elves and dwarves, they waged a desperate battle against Ku-Rath.   In a battle that shook the heavens and tore the seas asunder, Valor himself faced Ku-Rath, wielding a hammer of thunder and flame. With a final, earth-shattering blow, the Titan was defeated, bound beneath the oceans of Roken, where he slumbers still, awaiting the day when he might rise again to reclaim his dominion over the seas and bring ruin to all who dare stand before him.
