The Dai-Oni
A deep, dark wood on the southern edge of the Gryphon Province. This huge stretch of forest dominates the central area of the The Empire of Honshu. Its edges are heavily forested and certain well-patrolled paths lead through it to other provinces, but no sane travelers leave the paths and venture into the depths. After all, it is named for the huge giant demons that legend says spawn in its darker corners.
