Yeast Man's
The Yeast Man's building is a meat processing facility located on the west edge of Yeast Ave's drying sub-district. It's mostly jerky and ground meat that comes out of this place, and it all has a distinct taste. A generally pleasant taste, at that. Cleaver likes boasting about his "special blend", and how he's pouring back into the economy of Yeast Ave by sourcing all his spices and ingredients from the local community. And he's not entirely wrong.
But there's a lot more to it.
The south wing of the Yeast Man's building operates like any old drying and packing facility, shipping out their product to the trading hub sub-district. But the north wing is a hall of nightmares. Step through those doors and you're greeted with a massive, unholy machine, processing the raw meat fed to it, dutifully skinning and tanning and braising and grinding away. It produces a stench that no one can quite believe until they experience it for themselves, and the cacophony within its antechamber is enormous.
What meat does it process? Well, just about anything. Pigs, cows, chickens, rats. Cats and dogs. People.
Demographics
The processing facility at Yeast Man's employs a staff of roughly 50 individuals, most of whom work in the south wing, away from the processing machine. They come in all varieties; everyone is welcome to work at Yeast Man's.
Only a handful of individuals are seen entering or exiting the north wing. They are most often described as tall, brooding, and dangerous.
Government
Cleaver is owner and operator of the facility at Yeast Man's, running the day-to-day operations and keeping the cycle going. The employees are treated with respect and as equals, instead of slave labor, making it very difficult for them to come up with a reason to leave.
Defences
An electrified metal fence has been erected around the entire perimeter of the Yeast Man's property. Workers are let into the facility in the morning, and escorted out at close of business each day. Mercenaries are hired for guard duty and can be seen posted at all hours of the day.
Industry & Trade
The facility at Yeast Man's is one of the most thriving facilities in all of Yeast Ave. Their trading power is significant and the impact is felt in the trading hub. The primary products it produces is ground meat, jerky, and corned meat. Due to these products having a unique flavor and appeal, the prices are marginally higher than most other goods available, but still see very high rates of purchase due to the overall quality.
Infrastructure
The old structure of Yeast Man's was unsuitable for its new purposes, so settlers knocked out several walls and floors to create a more open space, suitable for a processing and packing facility. The north wing is one massive, singular room, dominated by the machine.

History
Theorized to originally be a museum, the building was relatively unharmed during the Maelstrom catastrophy, quickly being raided and stripped bare in the following years. When Yeast Ave was established as a permanent District, the "Yeast Man's" building was officially named as an homage to their newly organized corner of the apocalypse, and it underwent a number of modifications, transforming it into a suitable space for food processing. It changed hands countless times over the years, finally settling in the grasp of a man named Cleaver, who created the behemoth processing machine himself, and became a meat industry titan in the process.
