XXX
Brainers call this location “XXX”. Why? Because nobody knows for sure what it is or what it’s called. The only information the Brainers have on XXX is based on rumors heard from Yeast Ave and The Roc. It’s a base believed to be the center of operations. The marked location is the general area XXX is said to be in. But we can’t know the exact location for sure since nobody who’s went in has ever come out. Or at least, come out the same… The Loop is a place that is studied, a place traitors are banished to, and a place that is worshipped. The rumors (depending on the district you hear them from) range from intriguing and enticing to just batshit crazy.
Some say XXX is a secret treasury filled with an immense amount of jewels, food, and powerful weapons that have gone untouched since the maelstrom hit. Others say high-tech gear made by those infected by the maelstrom is stored there. Gear that makes it possible to detect things better at night, scopes that can see much further away, medicines that can heal you faster, and shit like that. Some people from Get High Falls think that an all powerful entity resides here, perhaps the very thing that caused the maelstrom in the first place.
Oh, did we mention that XXX is speculated to be an underground location?
Demographics
Strange beasts and those deemed insane usually wander around this area, one could assume. However, nothing comes too close to where ever XXX is thought to be located for some strange reason.

There doesn't seem to be much life here, so there's no need for governance.
Defences
None that any other districts could see. If you've made it past the maelstrom, then you can count those freaky monsters walking around as XXX's defense. According to Yeast Ave, there really isn't anything worth protecting in there. Get High Falls begs to differ.
Industry & Trade
Nobody goes in, nobody comes out. There doesn't seem to be a lot of action happening around XXX.
Infrastructure
The only thing we know about this district is that going in means certain death. Or morphing into some bizarre creature. Which also is a bad situation. So, besides that metal dome, there isn't much around. Everything else was leveled when the metal dome touched down.
Assets
High-tech Brainer gear? Untainted food? Powerful weapons? Shiny diamonds? Who knows.
History
- 2021, Wednesday Morning - Hell on Earth begins
- 2021, Weeks Later - The metal object falls from the sky, creating a shockwave that kills all living inhabitants within the district. An impact crater is left in the district's center.
- 2021, Months Later - An unusually strong Maelstrom presence is first noticed in the region. The district is given the name, "Infinite Loop."
- 2032 - The wiry metal dome at the center of the district is first observed. Long-distance observation suggests that it stands about 10 feet tall.
- 2046 ~ 2056 - Brainers discover an area via high-powered telescope that no living creature goes near, as if there's an invisible force keeping things out. Those brave enough to venture in to study this area have never returned.
Hi! I'm Michael Berger, the writer of the Infinite Loop district. I accidentally assumed that the current year of the Rocpocalypse world was 2071. However, judging from how the automatic age calculator works when creating characters, it seems that the current year is 2057. Because of that inconsistency, I've changed the "History" section of both this article and Infinite Loop so the events can canonically take place before before any of our group RPG sessions begin.
