Duke

Back when royalty still ruled the Earth, the kings passed down their God-given power to the next in line. The spawn of such rulers were crowned dukes and carried the tradition on for generations.
Now a duke is the highest of the five degrees of post-apocalyptic nobility.
The Emperor of XXX has bequeathed the honorable title of “Duke” to one of their most loyal mutts. The Duke loved his Emperor and always carried out his every whim without hesitation. This man, though less severe than his beloved Emperor, carries the same air and ideology. He is as free as he is dominating, and doesn’t mind showing his masochistic side to get what he wants. Yet, everything he does, he keeps the Emperor’s wishes in mind. He even mimicked his entire look just to be more like the Emperor.
However, Duke is known to be very possessive of the Emperor. Any mutt that gets a little too much special attention from his highness suddenly goes missing for a couple days, only to re-emerge quite… different. They seem like a deflated version of themselves, as if they were tortured or sleep deprived. Nobody except Duke knows where they go and what exactly happens to them. Everyone knows he has something to do with it, though.
Some of the other mutts have recently been speculating that Duke has been hiding something...
