Re-Education Facility

Hidden within the library, behind a secret bookshelf doorway, lies a part of the Queen Intelligence that is not usually discussed among residents of the Rocpocalypse. A chamber full of specific books, video records, and surgical tools. In this chamber, men who have broken the code defining equality among genders are brought to face their punishment. A chair laden with straps and shackles sits in the room, lit only by the harsh medical lamp hanging from the ceiling. An old television is hooked up to a looping reel of footage showing men committing atrocities. The books detail the many brutal details of rape and pillaging committed by male soldiers in times of war. These media are forced into the eyes of whichever criminal man is present, as well as doses of drugs that cause paranoia. The idea is to scare the men into treating the women like goddesses.   The films and reading forced upon subjects in the Re-Education facility are all propaganda, of course. The regulations that the matriarchy of Henry Etta's East have thrust upon males in their society have often been seen as unfair by the men in the society. The claim that the women of Henry Etta's East have taught the men how to treat women respectfully and equally is just a statement by the leaders of the community. Behind the facade is an oppressive government removing the rights from men and robbing them of their purpose in life. In this district, men are seen only as tools for reproduction. Men born in this district are treated as subordinates to their female counterparts, and are looked down upon as second-hand citizens. Men are not subject to the same laws as the women, and often are sent to the Re-Education Facility to be punished for crimes as petty as speaking too loudly, or attempting to be with a partner of their own choosing.   The fact remains that for a majority of human history, males have dominated females and not treated them as equals. But now that the tables have turned in this district, the females in Henry Etta's East have become just as drunk with power and have subjugated men to the same misfortunes as their female ancestors, all under the guise of "equality".
